KLAS: Remote Patient Monitoring

Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) is a sub category of telehealth that allows patients to use mobile medical devices and technology for collecting patient-generated health data (PGHD) and share it with their health care professionals. RPM solutions acquire, store, transmit, and display electronic health data from patients outside of conventional clinical settings. Data collected in RPM mainly include signs, weight, blood sugar, and oxygen levels. This data is then transferred to the physician’s office using software that can be installed in the computer.
