The Emirates Health Service (EHS), serving the United Arab Emirates, faced burnout and declining note quality among physicians. To address this, they invested in 3M™ Fluency Direct, an AI-powered speech-recognition solution, aiming to reduce documentation time and enhance note accuracy. The phased implementation approach led to a remarkable 70% systemwide adoption rate. Physicians praised the solution's flexibility and ease of use, with a survey revealing a 94% reduction in documentation time, improved patient satisfaction, increased productivity, and reduced burnout. The success is attributed to recruiting physician champions, on-site training, and hands-on deployment. The EHS plans to extend the solution to dental clinics and public health centers to maintain high adoption rates and enhance patient care.
