To date there have been ~4,500 active or completed clinical trials in Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia. New technologies from these trials may enable patient identification for specific treatments and the future may hold new discoveries through AI, machine learning and the internet of things that will drive greater understanding of specific interventions that can improve the patient experience.
