Standard Occupational Classification (SOC): Costume Attendants

It’s not common for costume attendants to work in healthcare settings. Costume attendants are typically responsible for managing and maintaining costumes and wardrobe for theater, film, television, or other performance productions. They may be responsible for organizing and storing costumes, selecting and fitting costumes for actors or performers, and making any necessary repairs or alterations to costumes.

In a healthcare setting, it’s more likely that you would find individuals working in roles such as medical assistants or patient care technicians, who are responsible for providing direct patient care and performing a variety of clinical and administrative tasks. These individuals may be responsible for tasks such as taking vital signs, administering medication, and assisting with patient care activities. They may also be responsible for maintaining patient records and coordinating with other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the care they need.
