Our founder and CEO, Kevin Hoffman, witnessed his mother go into cardiac arrest on a family ski vacation at the age of twelve. Only one in ten survive such an event. She was one of the lucky ones. However, after receiving an implanted defibrillator, tragedy struck again when the device malfunctioned and repeatedly shocked her.
These traumatizing events led Kevin to study heart rhythm management. After a career in the healthcare industry, he founded Vector Remote Care to improve the lives of cardiac patients like his mother, along with those who work at the clinics that care for them.
Remote monitoring uncovers issues before they become episodes. It reduces the time to treatment, providing additional data points to support appropriate clinical intervention.
