IHMI Improves patient health outcomes by empowering physicians with the clinically valid health care data needed to make informed clinical decisions. It collaborates with organizations like Health Level Seven (HL7®) and the Gravity Project to develop clinically valid, semantically interoperable, open data standards that ensure information exchanged is complete, accurate, and aligned with the needs of the clinician.
IHMI builds SMART® on Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR®) apps and other data products that increase standards’ adoption and improve access to clinically valid data. It is a founding member of the Gravity Project® FHIR Accelerator®, which aims to enable better patient care by standardizing SDOH data.
