Amazon announces Health Condition Programs for digital health access

Amazon has unveiled its Health Condition Programs at the JPM Healthcare Conference in San Francisco, partnering with chronic care management company Omada Health for the launch. The programs aim to provide customers with digital health benefits for managing chronic conditions like diabetes, prediabetes, and high blood pressure. Omada Health, known for its personalized data-driven behavior change coaching, offers services for conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and musculoskeletal issues. Eligible members can enroll in Omada's programs through Amazon, and the company plans to expand its partnerships with more digital health firms. Amazon has been actively involved in the digital health sector, having previously launched initiatives like Amazon Care and acquiring One Medical for $3.9 billion in 2022.
