Chartis launches new Center for Burnout Solutions

Working with its DES Health Consulting team, the advisory firm aims to help health system clients tackle clinician burnout and manage the demands on the workforce, improving quality and safety, job retention and provider experience. The Chartis Group has acquired DES Health Consulting to help with the development of its new Chartis Center for Burnout Solutions. WHY IT MATTERS DES collaborates with hospitals and health systems to address the underlying causes of burnout, identifying and resolving "friction spots" to help increase physician and nurse retention and workplace happiness, ultimately enhancing patient care and safety. The DES burnout assessment tool, which includes more than 12.5 million data points to gauge workplace satisfaction and aids in the creation of dashboards to enable more actionable improvements, will serve as the foundation of the new Chartis Center for Burnout Solutions, which will be run by psychologists. According to Chartis, it has reduced employee turnover and even suicide ideation while simultaneously addressing burnout.
