As ESUT Section chairman and Meeting chairman, it is our pleasure to announce that the Meeting of the European Section of Uro-Technology (ESUT) in conjunction with the German Working Groups of Endourology, Laparoscopy and Robotic Assisted Surgery will be organised on 23-24 January 2020 in the beautiful German city of Leipzig.

As during our last Meeting in Modena, attended by more than 600 experts in the field, the ESUT20 Meeting aims to introduce and provide updates of the most recent technological advances to European urologists and the impact of these developments on our everyday clinical practice. The Scientific Programme will provide many live demonstrations of urological procedures using modern instrumentations, with expert panels critically evaluating the benefits and limits of emerging technologies.  Live surgery transmission will be organized both locally, but also from remote intercontinental locations. Moreover, the programme will focus on all available treatment options for the same disease, with treatment strategies directly compared to enable participants to draw conclusions and gain new insights regarding the superiority or drawbacks of these technologies.
