We are pleased to announce the National Safeguarding Adults in Mental Health Conference which will focus on improving adult safeguarding practice: delivering a strengths based approach, improving decision making, user involvement and outcomes.The will update delegates on the national and legal context, discuss key issues and areas you are facing in practice, and develop a strengths based approach to adult safeguarding in mental health. There will be an extended focus on adult safeguarding investigation in mental health, and also on safeguarding and mental capacity.The conference will also update delegates on the implications of the new Liberty Protection Safeguards in a Mental Health setting.
