PEWS is used to predict and alert clinicians of potentially deteriorating pediatric patients. Thus, allowing earlier intervention and promotion of better patient outcomes. The intention of this project is to build PEWS into MEDITECH, embed PEWS as part of daily documentation, and enable PEWS for future integration with vendors.
