The objective of this Hackathon is to promote industry engagement, Private-Public Partnerships, and support for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). Gravitate Health, now in its third year, has already developed a federated open-source platform (FOSP) that is currently still in development. Consequently, the Hackathon provides a great opportunity to showcase the platform and test its usability. Constructive feedback will be valuable to the FOSP’s further development to serve its goals to empower and equip Europeans with health information for active personal health management and adherence to treatment. The ePI, interoperability, and the FHIR standard are in the center of development of the FOSP, one of the main outputs of Gravitate Health.

On behalf of the European Atherosclerosis Society (EAS) and the German societies DACH, DGFF and DGAF we are proud to invite you to participate in the 91st EAS Congress in the city of Mannheim. Mannheim is conveniently located in southern Germany with close access to Frankfurt and is home to inventions such as the automobile, bicycle and tractor. Plenty of cultural experiences and wine regions are within reach of the city.

The congress will carry on from the successful recent congress held in Milan and will offer in-person and virtual attendance. During the meeting we will explore the latest developments in basic, translational and clinical research into the causes of atherosclerosis and related vascular disease, and how these may affect the clinical guidelines for diagnosis and treatment. One of the key features of our Congress is the high-level interdisciplinary exchange between clinicians and basic researchers. With many world-leading experts already confirmed, the EAS 2023 scientific programme will offer an overview of the latest current research in the field – including the award-winning Anitschkow Lecture, outstanding Keynote Lectures, state-of-the-art Plenary Sessions, and focused Workshops and Advance Clinical Seminars. We firmly believe that the personal meeting – presenting and discussing one's work with others and sparking ideas from others' work – is the key to progress in science. We encourage you to join us – to ask questions and share ideas during the Science at a Glance and Poster Sessions.

The EAS mission is also to support young scientists in progressing their careers through Young Investigator Fellowships. This important initiative offers early-career scientists the opportunity to take part in the Congress, to learn through presenting their own research, attending the scientific programme, and getting to know others in the field. Information about Fellowships can be found on the Society website, and we welcome abstract submissions from young scientists.

The Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics GRC is a premier, international scientific conference focused on advancing the frontiers of science through the presentation of cutting-edge and unpublished research, prioritizing time for discussion after each talk and fostering informal interactions among scientists of all career stages. The conference program includes a diverse range of speakers and discussion leaders from institutions and organizations worldwide, concentrating on the latest developments in the field. The conference is five days long and held in a remote location to increase the sense of camaraderie and create scientific communities, with lasting collaborations and friendships. In addition to premier talks, the conference has designated time for poster sessions from individuals of all career stages, and afternoon free time and communal meals allow for informal networking opportunities with leaders in the field. The 2023 Conference on Cancer Genetics and Epigenetics will highlight the new development, challenges and opportunities in precision cancer medicine. The conference will focus on emerging technologies and analytical computational methods deciphering mechanistic insights from the studies of individual cancer genome and epigenome leading to drug discoveries and novel precision therapeutics. Heterogeneity of cancer and evolutionary trajectory of cancer will be explored in the context of genetics, epigenetics as well as genome topology, enabled by modern technologies including single cell genomics and CRISPR-based genome and epigenome engineering tools amenable to studies in tumor samples. An emphasis will be put on the emerging roles of non-coding genome and epi-transcriptome in cancer, and how they inform novel therapeutic strategies. Challenges in designing future generation cancer genomics studies and integrating large cancer genomics data will be addressed. This meeting should appeal to a wide range of cancer researchers, molecular biologists, and bioinformaticians seeking to apply the latest genetics and epigenetics discoveries to their work to cancer. In addition to an outstanding set of invited speakers there will be several interactive poster sessions, one minute "poster preview" talks and several talks selected for platform presentation from the submitted abstracts.
