Cancer is a complex disease involving multiple molecular and cellular events. Significant progress was made in characterizing the genetics of cancer and cellular pathways that are critical for cancer initiation and progression. However, most studies focused on single genes or proteins thus highlighting the need to analyze cancers as integrated systems of gene/protein/metabolite networks and underlying regulatory mechanisms. This EMBO Workshop focuses on applying and integrating high-throughput “omics” technologies, single-cell approaches and computational methods to analyze cancer-related processes and responses to drug treatments. The focus of this new 2023 workshop will again be to gather world’s best scientists working in the field, bringing together young and experienced scientists applying genome-scale or quantitative biology approaches.
