Enough is enough. We must ensure that concepts of health equity, population health and value-based care move from philosophy to mainstream clinical care and payment models. Tired and frustrated, Healthcare leaders can no longer accept a world where care is commoditized, unaffordable for many and burnout is epidemic. We now have an unprecedented opportunity to fix healthcare. Pressure to reduce costs and improve quality and outcomes will continue. Those who move toward value-based models will gain the competitive advantage, while those not ready may be left behind. Value Based Health USA 2023 (5-6 June, Philadelphia) will convene decision makers from all major stakeholders to make the vision of value-based health a reality for all.
