2022 Health Policy Orientation – Fall

This fall, the Health Policy Orientation is back in person! Join us in Washington, D.C. at the AcademyHealth office to hear how to best get your message across to policy leaders, learn about the role of the executive, judicial, and legislative branches, and evaluate the current policy landscape both nationally and at the state level. The past few years have emphasized the critical role of politics and policymaking in shaping our nations health and responding to global public health crises. This course is perfectly timed to give you the knowledge you need to make an impact. The Fall Health Policy Orientation will include presentations by well-known experts, interactive panels, and group discussions. Attendees will receive a crash course on the ins and outs of health policymaking and gain take-home skills to cut through the bureaucratic red tape to achieve their health policy goals.
