Hospitals and health systems that seek to improve safety, quality, and patient experience—while managing costs—would do well to take a close look at the radiology department. With reimbursements going down, costs going up, and an ultracompetitive landscape, it’s smart to keep an open mind. Organizations that are receptive to new ideas are the ones that will move ahead.
