Updating codes is essential in a medical practice, as ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes are revised and released on Oct. 1 each year, and CPT codes are updated each year on Jan. 1. In this presentation, attendees will review ICD-10-CM updates from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) code changes effective Jan. 1, 2022. The presentation will detail brand-new codes, codes that have been deleted and modifications to existing codes.
