Drug diversion remains a major concern for hospital pharmacy teams and can cause increased risks for clinicians, patients and organizations. In response to the severity of the problem, pharmaceutical governing organizations will release new guidelines outlining best practices for diversion detection and investigations as well as a statement on the use of artificial intelligence in pharmacy.
This session will feature a panel discussion with diversion experts who will examine the problem of drug diversion and anticipated best practices for adhering to the pending guidelines.
