Whether that person is a physician or nurse seeking information about a patient’s previous test results or a patient wanting to view their own test results, integrated and interoperable cloud-based solutions make it easy for all of these people to find the information they need to make informed decisions. Further, with the unveiling of the interoperability rules from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), interoperability across platforms will soon be a requirement.
