HL7 International Working Group Meetings (WGMs) are held three times per year at varying locations and serve two important purposes:

V2 Advanced covers all the concepts of the HL7 Version 2 (V2) standard. Apart from the core concepts of V2, the training also covers HL7 Version 2 certification topics. 

Learn practical aspects of V2 messaging, how to read/write them and deal with message profiles. Also, get a taste for how integration engines help in creating V2 interfaces through the Mirth Connect open-source platform.

This online class takes an in-depth look into the infrastructure sections of the HL7® FHIR® specification. It includes slide-based tuition alternating with hands-on sessions where participants apply what they know.

This follows on from the "Introduction to FHIR" course. It will provide insight on how to design, develop and test software that uses the HL7 FHIR interoperability standard.

As new concepts are introduced, participants will get to use FHIR "hands-on" for what they have learned previously and for some of the more advanced concepts introduced in this course.
