Standard Occupational Classification (SOC): Special Education Teachers, All Other

Special education teachers, all other in the healthcare field refer to those who specialize in teaching individuals with special needs who may have unique or uncommon disabilities or conditions. To be a successful special education teacher, all other, in the healthcare field, one should have a background in special education and experience working with individuals with special needs. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in special education or a related field is typically required, as well as state certification in special education. Good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work as part of a team, are also important in this field.
